Air Quality Fellowship

Brightline’s 2025 Summer Legal and Policy Fellows

Brightline is committed to creating opportunities for future environmental justice and policy leaders through our fellowship program.

Our Air Quality Fellowship is a part-time opportunity for undergraduate students in their junior or senior year and graduate students to gain hands-on experience in environmental justice work. Fellows will work with Brightline staff to plan and carry out a research project on air quality, pollution, or environmental policy over several months, culminating in public-facing materials or events by the end of the fellowship.

Qualifications

We’re looking for undergraduate students in their junior and senior year or graduate students who are:

  • Excited to design and lead a meaningful research project.

  • Passionate about environmental justice, air quality, and community health.

  • Organized and dependable, able to commit to working 10-20 hours per week

  • Good communicators and excited to work with diverse communities.
