Brightline's Letter to Providence, Rhode Island Mayor Angel Taveras' office and the Providence City Solicitor in support of local hiring reform efforts led by Direct Access for Rights and Equality.

A revised local hiring policy centered around a First Source List earned the support of the Rhode Island Building Trades and Construction Council, as well as other community labor leaders, contractors, Mayor Taveras, and the City Council.

Brightline's letter highlights the groundwork laid by all stakeholders for an important policy to target opportunities for Providence residents on publicly funded projects.
